Known as the seventh art, is inclusive of the previous six arts (music, dance, poetry, painting, sculpture and theater), therefore the art that has to work with all other ones.

Study for impact and involvement of natural changing conditions in the process of conception and design of a building or landscape can introduce new conceptions, new performances for the object and even sense stimulus to their user. How they could be used as ecological power sources, how they can interact with the created spaces and volumes, how to bring nature inside the objects, how to take the most of the nature through the object could stimulate our hearing sense and take us into another architectural dimension.
Sometimes associated with technological domotic systems, it is possible for architecture to interact with the surrounding’s natural conditions, providing a fusion between technology, architecture, sculpture and music: the created object is as real as their users.

Lighting plays an important role in architecture objects or realities.
Classical architectural differences such as form and content, volume and area or ideas of scale in architecture are simply extended by the component of light.
Light is incorporated in the architectural whole, and the question of how light penetrates space, shapes it and alters it by means of shadows interests an architect: light is an instrument for designing a space.
Technically, when using light in a space, when is intended an architectural approach for lighting fixtures, there are some main characteristics of the illumination of buildings or spaces important to analyze in order to be able to lighten it:
-the first is the artistic appeal of a building or an interior space, important in the architectural lighting in separate environments.
-the function of the lighting is also taken into account.  For example, will the lighting be used for reading in addition to decoration? Or will it be indoor or outdoor?
- last, the energy efficiency of the architectural lighting is also important, for example, taking into consideration over-lighting of parking structures or not enough lighting for the functions to be performed in the architectural space.
Light is what makes forms be noticed, what could result in a work of art or what could ruin it. Such as form, it is important to coordinate all aspects in a work, controlling lighting fixtures and making them work side by side with the attempts and concepts behind the project, not only providing photometric or artificial conditions for it to be seen but the correct conditions for it to be observed.
Transparency is also an important characteristic in the architectural conception.
It resides on the quality for surfaces and volumes to be able to transport light from one border to another, creating illusion and movement of surprise in spaces, forgetting intrinsic natural attributes of materials or equipments.

Since ancients, cities were planned according to functions, social hierarchies, military defense or natural characteristics of implantation.
Planning means power to decide, to answer to people’s needs with landscape and urban design, and it has to include social and anthropological analysis of existent, of intended, of needed for a correct diagnose of realities present, past and future and responsible answer in plan.
Always in change and constant mutation, the results for planning urban development should consist in a package of strategies and policies gathered in a master plan where the design is flexible and in the right measure, adequate and with a twist of conciliation among inhabitants lives, independently or as a community and defending sustainability urban systems, in the quest for global integration and territorial development.
An important problem for the contemporary city is urban rehabilitation and recovering: old problems become acceptable only if their forgotten, ancient values shouldn’t be excluded, true habits should be watched over.

Thinking in adapting building and cities for climate changes, our work is in the line of development for breathing buildings in connection with the genius loci. It is urgent adapting to mitigate our emissions until each of us only produces their fair earth share of greenhouse gasses, in every country, in line with the method of “contraction and convergence”, as set out by the world authorities.

So, adapting our buildings we are able to survive in them though the worst that climate can throw at us, even when the lights go out; adapt to increase the resilience of our communities to ensure that the fabric of our civilized societies remains intact through the changes ahead. We have the technology to survive; the moment to use it is now.
